To: [log in to unmask] <[log in to unmask]>

Good afternoon,

The International Journal of Information, Diversity & Inclusion seeks papers for its Winter/Spring 2023 regular issue. Papers that pass all stages of the review process will be immediately published on the journal’s Early Access feed so that authors are able to enjoy the immediate impact of their work in the field.

At this time, the journal is especially interested in research, conceptual papers, and reports from the field on the following topics:

  • The information worlds of Indigenous communities
  • Youth literacy practices in the Global South: Africa, Asia, Oceania, and South America
  • Interdisciplinary library services with other cultural institutions via community engagement
  • Social justice in libraries, in cultural institutions, in community-based literacy organizations
  • Data science and other technological innovations that impact local communities worldwide

The IJIDI publishes research articles and special section publications that include multidisciplinary perspectives on the intersection of equity, social justice, and information. The journal seeks to expand the discourse on how access to, interaction with, and the use of information by a range of populations can impact individuals, communities, and society. IJIDI is a quarterly, open access, online journal, indexed in SCOPUS, JSTOR, and the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ); the journal uses a double-blind peer-review process.

More information about the scope of and topics included in IJIDI can be found at:
https://jps.library.utoronto.ca/index.php/ijidi/about

Author guidelines can be found at: https://jps.library.utoronto.ca/index.php/ijidi/about/submissions.
(Note: Please be sure to read the author guidelines carefully so that your submission and its supporting documents are correctly uploaded.)

The deadline for submissions for volume 7, issue 1, is October 1, 2022, with papers being published as early as February 2022. The publication date for the entire issue is March 15, 2022. See our Call for Papers for more information or contact the journal Editor at: [log in to unmask].

Thank you!
