The deadline for Community Webs, the Internet Archive’s community history web archiving program, is one week away! Cultural heritage organizations have until Monday, August 2nd to apply to join our next cohort, kicking off late-Summer 2021.

Community Webs empowers public libraries, community archives and other cultural heritage organizations to work with their communities to build web archives documenting local histories and voices typically underrepresented in the historic record. The program offers free web archiving services and technical support via a multi-year subscription to Archive-It, as well as resources for networking, professional development and in support of scholarly research. Community Webs is fully funded and administered by the Internet Archive. There is no cost to participating organizations. Find out more about the program by visiting the Community Webs website and by viewing our recent program announcements and blog post
