I'm writing to share that TD TD is accepting program proposals for February 2021 African Heritage Month. The deadline for submission is July 2, 2020 at 5:00 pm EST and there is absolutely no room for negotiation on that timeline. Applications can be found here on our website.
I know that Feb 2021 seems a long way off and at the same time July 2020 incredibly early yet with a little proactive outreach I will ensure everyone is well aware of the deadline. The funding focus continues to be on programs that align to our giving strategy known as TD's Ready Commitment. A gentle reminder that TD has moved away from supporting dinners and galas. Stronger applications would present unique programming opportunities that highlight and celebrate Atlantic Canada's Black and/or African heritage and culture through community programming.
Details on TD Ready Commitment can be found on our website as well as the online application. Feel free to share this funding opportunity with other like minded groups and organizations and please let me know if you have any questions. Until then please remain safe, healthy and happy.
