Summer may be fast approaching but that doesn’t mean an end to learning! In fact, at Let’s Talk Science we are continuing to add new resources and activities to support educators, families and youth as they engage in learning through STEM.
We hope that you will continue to share our resources with your networks and colleagues to help encourage learning through STEM over the summer months.
What’s new this month?
We continue to expand on our collection curated Wakelets , curriculum aligned resources and activities on a wide range of topics on our STEM at Home. A few highlights:
· new curated resource collections including :
o Night Time Science (Pre-Kindergarten – Grade 3)
o Simple Machines at work and play! (Grades 4-6)
o Canada Innovates (Grades 7-9)
· Solutioneers - a fantastic series in which the heroes tackle common problems using STEM - is now available (Grades 4-6);
· A new STEAM Partners page featuring great video content from some of our Let’s Talk Science partners (Grades 4-12);
· Wednesday Wonders (Kindergarten to Grade 6) – Check out “Build a Balloon Rocket” - Can you create a balloon rocket to collect, analyse and represent data?

Let’s Talk Science Challenge – Online
Students in grades 6-8 can have one week left to participate in our online version of the Let’s Talk Science Challenge. Last Challenge on Engineering and Technology is June 4!
