The Canadian Association of Professional Academic Librarians (CAPAL)/L’Association canadienne des bibliothécaires en enseignement supérieur (ACBES) invites applications from eligible LIS students to receive a diversity
& equity bursary to attend CAPAL’s upcoming meeting at the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences 2020 “Bridging Divides” conference, University of Western Ontario, June 2-4, 2020. Your participation is voluntary. The Bursary, which is funded by EBSCO,
offers reimbursement up to a maximum of $1000.00 (USD). Allowable expenses under this bursary includes free conference registration, travel to and from the event, accommodation, meal per diem, and local transportation. Funds will be reimbursed after the conference,
and only upon submission of original receipts and (if applicable) airline/train/bus boarding passes.
The deadline for this application is February 14, 2020.

L'Association canadienne des bibliothécaires en enseignement supérieur (ACBES)/The Canadian Association of Professional Academic Librarians (CAPAL) invite les étudiant-e-s admissibles en bibliothéconomie et sciences de l’information à présenter une demande de bourse pour assister au prochain rendez-vous de l’ACBES, qui aura lieu du 2 au 4 juin 2020, à l'University Western Ontario, lors du Congrès des sciences humaines, avec la thématique « Bâtir des passerelles » en 2020. La bourse, qui est financée par EBSCO, offre un remboursement jusqu'à un montant maximal de 1 000 $ (USD). Les dépenses admissibles en vertu de cette bourse comprennent les frais de déplacement aller-retour à l'événement, l'hébergement, l'indemnité quotidienne de repas et le transport local.
