The Canadian Association of Professional Academic Librarians (CAPAL)/L’Association canadienne des bibliothécaires en enseignement supérieur (ACBES) invites applications from eligible LIS students to receive a diversity & equity bursary to attend CAPAL’s upcoming meeting at the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences 2020 “Bridging Divides” conference, University of Western Ontario, June 2-4, 2020. Your participation is voluntary. The Bursary, which is funded by EBSCO, offers reimbursement up to a maximum of $1000.00 (USD). Allowable expenses under this bursary includes free conference registration, travel to and from the event, accommodation, meal per diem, and local transportation. Funds will be reimbursed after the conference, and only upon submission of original receipts and (if applicable) airline/train/bus boarding passes. The deadline for this application is February 14, 2020.
