About the Session
The morning portion of this session will take you through the process of asking a clear clinical question and translating that question into a logical search in biomedical databases. PubMed will be used as an example. In the afternoon, we'll focus on understanding the PRESS Guideline Statement <https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/27005575> and using it with colleagues to review the integrity of search strategies. There will be a break mid-day.

At the end of this session, participants will be able to confidently:
* Focus a clinical research question
* Translate a clinical research question into key search concepts
* Run searches using appropriate syntax and Boolean logic
* Understand and apply the PRESS Guideline Statement
