Hi there,


I was forwarded the following information from Katherine McColgan.  It is a call for participants for FMD (see below).


FMD (formerly ASTED) is working with one of its members to develop a program on decolonization. Below is a very preliminary description of the program.


FMD is seeking an indigenous individual to work with some folks to develop the program. Although they are a francophone organization and audience, the individual does not need to be.



Décolonisation, autochtonisation: éthique et pratiques pour favoriser une plus grande inclusion [titre préliminaire]

La formation vise d’abord à démystifier les concepts d'autochtonisation et de décolonisation, puis à réfléchir aux manières d’intégrer ces concepts aux pratiques bibliothéconomiques.

Personnes-ressources : À déterminer

Public cible : Cette formation est destinée aux gestionnaires et aux professionnels impliqués dans la gestion d’équipes de travail.

Lieu : Montréal

Date : Printemps 2020
