Subject: Inquiry: Donation of DVDs

Hello members of the Atlantic Provinces Library Association,

I received the name of your organization from Brock Silversides at the University of Toronto’s Media Commons. If there’s someone else in particular I should forward this message on to, please let me know and I will happily do so.

I’m emailing from Kensington Communications, a documentary film production company in Toronto that has been making award-winning films and TV series for the last 40 years. We’ve recently donated our archival holdings to U of T’s Media Commons, and we’re starting to clear out our DVD collection as well. We have excess copies of several of our popular titles, and we’d like to offer them to your libraries free of charge. All we’d ask for in return is a donation receipt and for you to cover the cost of shipping.

I’ve included a list of our available titles below as well as a PDF with more information on each. Please let me know if this would be of interest to you.

Available Titles:

·      Diamond Road (2007), Feature Documentary

·      Diamond Road (2007), 3-Part Limited Series

·      Museum Secrets: Volume One (2010)

·      Museum Secrets: Inside the ROM (2010)

·      My Beat: The Life and Times of Bruce Cockburn (2001)

·      Raw Opium: Pain, Pleasure, Profits (2011), Feature Documentary

·      Return to Nepal, with Bruce Cockburn (2008)

Thanks so much,

Naomi Lang
