The Position:  APLA Bulletin Technical Editor  

 

Required Qualifications:

•             Working knowledge of Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform;

•             Ability to work independently and to follow through on assignments;

•             Ability to motivate and work with others or the desire to improve yourself in these areas 

 

Responsibilities: 

•             Archive the APLA Bulletin in OJS;

•             Work with co-editor to determine content for APLA bulletin;

•             Collect and edit articles for newsletter; and write articles as needed;

•             Design bulletin layout including uploading of pictures;

•             Meet print or email blast deadlines

Reports to: APLA President

Commitment: Approximately four hours per issue 

Minimum of one year – 4 issues–but please feel free to stay longer.
