Hello everyone, During the week of October 21 - 27, 2018, APLA is sponsoring "Games @ the Library" week which is also known as la semaine des Jeux @ la bibliothèque in French! Anytime that week, libraries of all types in Atlantic Canada are encouraged to host a "game themed" event of their choice (board games, chess, trivia, scavenger hunts, video games, etc.). Events could be geared towards specific age groups or the whole community. APLA's goal is to show that libraries are places where people meet, learn, and have fun! All participants during APLA's Games @ the Library week are eligible to enter their names in the grand prize draw on November 21, 2018. There will be one grand prize for all of Atlantic Canada. This year, the grand prize for the Games @ the Library draw will be a Samsung Galaxy Tab E Lite. The posters and the ballots for this year's event are attached.
