I am writing regarding the 2018 MLA Fellowships that we offer as a way to contribute to the MLA International Bibliography. Founded in 1883, the Modern Language Association of America provides opportunities for its members to share their scholarly findings and teaching experiences with colleagues and to discuss trends in the academy. The MLA International Bibliography database provides access to print and electronic books and articles published on modern languages, literatures, film, folklore, and linguistics. It is compiled by the indexing staff of the MLA Office of Bibliographic Information Services with the cooperation of more than 100 contributing bibliographers in the United States and abroad. We feel members of the Canadian Federation of Library Associations would be interested in this opportunity. I include a link that will assist in advertising the fellowship program.
