Dear CFLA-FCAB Members,
CFLA-FCAB is seeking individuals to serve on our new Intellectual Freedom
Committee.
We are looking for broad national representation from different library
sectors for individuals who value the principles of intellectual freedom
and will actively participate in the work of the committee.
Individuals will ideally have expertise in intellectual freedom normally
attained through research, policy development, education, and involvement.
Space on the committee is limited and so should you wish to name an expert,
we are looking for no more than one nomination per member association for
consideration to serve on the committee
The committee will be formed through a combination of nominations and
appointments in order to gather the necessary expertise and knowledge to
carry out the work of the committee.
Please send nominations to [log in to unmask] *by Friday December 15,
2017*.

CFLA-FCAB est à la recherche de personnes pour siéger à notre nouveau
Comité sur la liberté intellectuelle.
Nous sommes à la recherche de représentant(e)s nationaux(nationales) de
différents secteurs de bibliothèques qui apprécient les principes de la
liberté intellectuelle et participeront activement aux travaux du comité.
Les individus auront idéalement une expertise dans la liberté
intellectuelle normalement atteinte par la recherche, l'élaboration de
politiques, l'éducation et d’un engagement dans le domaine.
Le nombre de membres du comité est limité alors si vous souhaitez nommer un
expert, nous ne cherchons pas plus d'une nomination par association membre
pour être examiné à siéger sur le comité.
Le comité sera formé par une combinaison de mise en candidature et de
nominations afin de rassembler l'expertise et les connaissances nécessaires
pour mener à bien les travaux du comité.
