Please see the attached job posting: Director of Information Technology and Information Management. The position is based in Stephenville, NL.

Reporting to the Executive Director this position is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the information technology and information management services of the Provincial Information and Library Resources Board and its seven operating divisions which includes 94 libraries.

The position provides leadership in Information Technology Management and coordinates the establishment of local and wide area networks as well as the information technology (IT) support function needed to ensure smooth operation of all information networks within the organization.  Strives to understand organizational needs and coordinates the development of solutions using established methodologies.  Produces reports and specifications as needed and coordinates the IT procurement process.

This position manages the access to information function of the organization and ensures compliance with all government legislation pertaining to the delivery of information technology and information management services. This position is also responsible for the organization's Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Program.  Manages the information technology budget, supervises IT staff and completes other management duties as required.
