*APOLOGIES FOR CROSS-POSTING*
One Book Nova Scotia (1BNS) is looking for a new Academic Co-Chair for the 2018 campaign. The position will start in mid-December of 2017 and runs for two campaigns (2018 & 2019). The role of the Academic Co-Chair:
I’ve had a wonderful time as Academic Co-Chair for One Book Nova Scotia. There will be lots of support for the new Co-Chair from myself and the other members of the Steering Committee. “Most people don't realize how important librarians are. I ran across a book recently which suggested that the peace and prosperity of a culture was solely related to how many librarians it contained. Possibly a slight overstatement. But a culture that doesn't value its librarians doesn't value ideas and without ideas, well, where are we?” - Neil Gaiman
