With apologies for any cross-posting.
Hi Everyone,
I hope you all enjoyed the beautiful Nova Scotia summer!
We are pleased to advise the Libraries, Archives & Museums Nova Scotia (LAMNS) Steering Committee has finalized the mission, vision and values for LAMNS. This was a collective effort of your steering committee representatives to articulate
the purpose, direction and driving force behind our partnership with a lens on the feedback that was received through previous consultations including the ALM Conference session on ‘Reimagining Libraries Nova Scotia for the Future’. The mission, vision and
values statements have been posted to the LAMNS section of the
http://librariesns.ca website and are also attached to this email for your convenience.
Our next step is to transition the Libraries Nova Scotia (LNS) website to Libraries, Archives & Museums Nova Scotia (LAMNS), an all-encompassing website for LAMNS communication, planning and engagement. We have acquired the URL
http://lamns.ca and will be transitioning to this new website over the coming months. During the transition period
lamns.ca will continue to redirect to
http://librariesns.ca where information and developments will be posted until we are ready to officially launch the new website.
Now that the groundwork has been laid, we are excited to begin the work of identifying and prioritizing opportunities for shared collaboration.
