Greetings Everyone,

Please see announcement below regarding the IWB 2017 Conference. Hope to see you all there!

On February 15, 2017, the 11th annual student-run Information without Borders Conference will be held in the McInnes Room at Dalhousie University's Student Union Building.

This year's topic will be: Digital Governance in the Information Age.

Topics that will be discussed include:

*         Open data in government;

*         Information privacy;

*         Social media/citizen engagement;

*         eGovernment and participatory government;

* The role of information managers within organizations that help with governance.

We hope that this topic will be of interest to the Atlantic Provinces Library Association.

Registration will open in December through Eventbrite, and we will inform you of ticket prices as soon as they are confirmed. Registration includes access to all events, breakfast, lunch and a gift bag.

The Information Without Borders Conference is a one-day event that provides a forum for interdisciplinary discussion between students, faculty, and professionals, on a topic related to information management. This student-led initiative is run out of the School of Information Management at Dalhousie University.
