The 2016 ABC Copyright conference is being held in Halifax May 26-27, at the Lord Nelson Hotel. The conference is looking for volunteers to help out at the registration/information desk and as session conveners.

The registration/information table will be open for two hours on the evening of May 25, the night before the conference, as well as during the conference itself. In addition to registration/information duties, volunteers will offer general assistance such as posting signage and other tasks to keep the conference running smoothly.  

Session conveners’ duties will include:

·         Introducing session presenters

·         Assisting the presenter, troubleshooting/calling for assistance, etc.

·         Moderating time

·         Facilitating Q&A sessions

·         Closing sessions

Volunteers are welcome to attend the session before and/or after their shift. Since there are no sessions on Thursday, volunteers who staff the registration/information table Thursday night are welcome to attend another day of their choice.
