The Canadian National Committee for CODATA (CNC/CODATA) would appreciate your assistance in bringing the following Sangster Award announcement (attached) to the attention of potential applicants. The award may be of interest to specialists in a broad range of disciplines that employ data-related activities.

This award will enable a graduate student enrolled in a Canadian university, or recent graduate (within 3 years of graduation), to attend and present his or her work at the 25th International CODATA Conference (jointly organized with World Data System), SCIDataCon 2016, “Advancing the Frontiers of Data in Research”, to be held 11-13 September 2016, in Denver, Colorado.

Le Comité national canadien de CODATA (CNC/CODATA) apprécierait votre appui en apportant à l’attention de candidates ou candidats potentiels, l’annonce du prix Sangster suivante. Le prix peut être d'intérêt pour les spécialistes dans un large éventail de disciplines qui emploient des activités liées aux données.

Ce prix est offert à une étudiante ou un étudiant diplômé inscrit dans une université canadienne, ou ayant terminé ses études supérieures dans les trois ans précédant la date limite d'inscription. Ce prix permettra à la lauréate ou au lauréat de participer à la 25e Conférence internationale de CODATA (organisé conjointement avec World Data System) et d’y présenter ses travaux de recherche. La Conférence (SCIDataCon 2016) se tiendra du 11 au 13 septembre 2014, à Denver, Colorado, sur le thème « Repousser les frontières des données en recherche ».
