The Library at Mount Saint Vincent University invites applications for a full-time, probationary position, at the rank of Librarian I, commencing on July 1, 2016. Applicants should hold an ALA-accredited Master of Library Science (or equivalent) and have experience with all aspects of core archival functions. Applicants should have reference service experience preferably in an academic library environment.

 

Experience in the following areas would be considered an asset:

 

Responsibilities include serving as the liaison librarian for the humanities and for the areas of scholarly communication and archives. The successful candidate will be a member of the reference team and teach the credit course LIBR 2100 Introduction to Research in the Information Age once per year.
