As many of you are aware, for the past several months, I have been the APLA representative on the working group made up of members from provincial and national library associations whose goal was to envision a new form for our national library association.

 

Attached is the final, revised proposal Toward a Federation of Library Associations in Canada: Strengthening the National Voice for Canadian Libraries, released by CLA yesterday. I encourage all APLA members to review this proposal. Please keep an eye out over the next few weeks for surveys soliciting input on the proposal and take the time to respond.
