Hi everyone, This morning the Minister of Communities, Culture and Heritage launched a new Atlantic ebook collection, branded "Read Local"; it is one of the top 4 stories on the NS government web page: http://novascotia.ca/ . Media release: http://novascotia.ca/news/release/?id=20150826001 The project is a result of a partnership amongst the Atlantic Provinces Marketing Association, Nova Scotia Provincial Library (Communities, Culture and Heritage) and Halifax Public Libraries. As a result, this new ebook collection is now available in every public library in the province. The ebooks have been loaded on the Overdrive platforms (there are two in NS, one for Halifax Public Libraries and one for all the other regional libraries in the province). The books have been available to NS library users since early August- within the first week, without any promotion, 86% of the new titles were in circulation.
