Islandora is an open-source software framework designed to help institutions and organizations and their audiences collaboratively manage, and discover digital assets using a best-practices framework. Islandora was originally developed by the University of Prince Edward Island's Robertson Library, but is now implemented and contributed to by an ever-growing international community.
The theme of the conference is Community - the Islandora community, the community of people our institutions serve, the community of researchers and librarians and developers who work together to curate digital assets, and the community of open source projects that work together and in parallel.
We hope you will join us in Charlottetown this summer. We are offering up two days of conference sessions by Islandora users from around the world, two days of hands-on workshops exploring Islandora from both the front-end and the underlying code, and a day-long Hackfest to close the week. Registrations and full details can be found on the conference website: http://islandora.ca/camps/conference2015
Thank you,
The Islandora Team
