At this year’s APLA conference, CODE and APLA are teaming up to bring you an auction table!  All proceeds from the auction will be donated to Grow-a-Library’s current initiative : the Medabo zena Reading Room in Ethiopia.

 

Predictably, we already have some unique book titles lined up for the auction table, and we are seeking donations of other types of items to maximise and diversify our offerings.  Local handmade items from the four Atlantic provinces would be particularly welcome, as well as interesting/beautiful/quirky items likely to be of interest to APLA conference attendees.

 

Anyone interested in making an item donation may send a picture of the item along with basic information (description, value, etc.) to APLA President Louise White via e-mail at the following address : [log in to unmask].  We would appreciate receiving all submissions by the end of April, so as to give us enough time to make a selection as well as make arrangements for receiving the items from all the donors.
