I am pleased to let you know that as part of CADTH’s 25th Anniversary Celebrations and as our contribution to building HTA capacity in Canada, CADTH’s Information Specialists will be presenting a workshop on February 25, 2014 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at Dalhousie University, Halifax. This free workshop  entitled “Finding the Evidence: Literature Searching Tools for Systematic Reviews” will aim to provide an overview and discussion of the applicability of a variety of search tools and techniques in the context of supporting evidence-based medicine. In particular, the workshop will highlight:


·        Practical approaches to grey literature searching

·        Finding, selecting and applying methodological search filters

·        Elements of the peer review of electronic database search strategies

There are currently 10 spaces left and registration will be on a first come first serve basis.
