Good day all:

Please find attached a press release and schedule concerning t
he Adopt-A-Library Literacy Program’s week of delivering over 80,000 books to nine Nova Scotian regional public libraries.  Delivering the free reading material for our young readers will be the founder of the program, RCMP Constable John Kennedy.

Valued at over 700,00.00, this donation of free books represent one of the largest donations of its kind in the history of Nova Scotia.

To read the complete story of the Adopt A Library Literacy Program and how it has been promoting crime reduction through children’s literacy over the past decade, please visit the program’s site at http://www.fightingcrime.ca

For more information please do not hesitate to contact me to assist in arranging an interview with Constable John Kennedy as he makes his way around the province in a truck full of books or please feel free to contact our Chief Librarian, Eric Stackhouse (902-755-6031 or [log in to unmask]).

Please pardon cross-postings.

Thanks again.
