Forwarding from Jamie Serran:
“We would love it if
APLA members were able to attend the CNSA conference. The sessions on Day 2 of the conference, especially, have a wider focus on the partnerships and collaborations possible outside the archives community and would likely be of interest to related groups,
like librarians!“

The Council of Nova Scotia Archives (CNSA) invites you to join us for our annual Spring Conference, “The 3 P's of Digital Archives: Possibilities, Practicalities, & Partnerships”. Building on our 2012 Digital Archives theme, we hope this
year to explore in more depth the possibilities, practicalities and partnerships open to us in a digital archives environment, with a particular emphasis on the possible collaborations with our library, records management, and museum colleagues.
The conference will take place over two days on May 23-24, 2013, at Nova Scotia Archives in Halifax. Registration is open to CNSA members and non-members alike, and this year we have introduced reduced early-bird rates for non-members as
well. We have also continued with our low student registration rates. The early-bird deadline for registration is Friday, May 3rd, 2013.
Please visit the CNSA website at
http://www.councilofnsarchives.ca/ and check out the conference page to learn more about the theme, view the schedule of sessions, and register online. Online payment via Paypal is available as well. Our panel discussion on the morning of May 24th
would be of particular interest to our non-archives colleagues!
Please feel free to contact me with any questions. We look forward to welcoming you in Halifax next month!
