CLA 2012 National Conference and Trade Show

The Canadian library community will gather in Ottawa from 30 May-2 June 2012 at the new Ottawa Convention Centre.

CLA 2012 will be an action-packed event with opportunities for education, edification, entertainment and engagement.

This year's conference offers a unique opportunity for you to be a library advocate at the "CLA on the Hill" Advocacy Afternoon on Wednesday 30 May.

Get inspired for your time on the Hill at the Advocacy Boot Camp pre-conference.

Conference highlights include:

  *   engaging pre-conferences, library tours, advocacy events and the opening reception on Wednesday 30 May
  *   opening session and keynote speaker, great sessions, trade show time (with free lunch!) and the book awards reception on Thursday 31 May
  *   plenary session, more trade show time (with another free lunch!), more great sessions, the CLA AGM and an all-delegates reception on Friday 1 June
  *   even more great sessions, CLA awards presentations and the closing keynote on Saturday 2 June
