Enfield District 0.5-Part--time, 17.5 hours per week, 10 months   Competition # 11-02-29

 Rawdon District 0.2-Part--time, 7 hours per week, 10 months   Competition # 11-02-30

 

Reporting to the Library Services Manager and the School Principal(s), the Library Specialist I will be responsible for organizing, planning and managing the School Library within designated schools.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Library and Information Technology diploma from a recognized training program or equivalent.

 

In addition, the employer will select the most qualified candidate as per the requirements of the collective agreement, which set out that “…selection shall be made upon the objective criteria of experience, job performance, ability and qualifications."
In the event that there are no fully qualified candidates, the position may be filled on a term basis with the candidate who, in the Employer’s opinion, comes closest to meeting the minimum qualifications.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work as a team player and provide support as required
- Ability to perform multi-tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Willingness to participate in additional training as required
- Ability to work independently in a position of trust Regular position.

 

Salary:                              As per NSGEU Contract
