(Please excuse cross posting)

Dear Colleague,

Jane Devine and I, librarians at LaGuardia Community College which is part of the City University of New York (CUNY), are writing a 2nd edition of our book Going Beyond Google: The Invisible Web in Learning and Teaching (Neal-Schuman, 2009). We are continuing our research into the Invisible Web and want to survey our colleagues in the library world about their use of the Invisible Web and how, if at all, they teach about the Invisible Web. To this end, we would like to enlist your help.

First, we hope that you will fill out the attached survey. It is administered by Survey Monkey and all responses are anonymous. Please click on the link below.

Second, we would appreciate hearing from you if you teach about the Invisible Web in any setting (reference, one-shot library instruction, credit course, etc.). Would you  be willing to describe your work in this area and share any materials you might have created, such as syllabi, handouts, lesson plans, etc.?

We will give you credit in our book for any submission that we use.

Please contact us if you have any questions. We greatly appreciate your help.
