In the fall of 2011, application forms will be made available for libraries – public, academic and special - who wish to contend for the W. Kaye Lamb Award for service to Seniors.

This prestigious award is named for Canada’s first National Librarian.  The W. Kaye Lamb Award is sponsored jointly by Ex Libris and the Canadian Library Association.  The award along with a prize of $500.00 is given to the library who best serves their senior population in the preceding year (2011).

The award winner will be announced in February 2012.  So start preparing to show how your library offers an innovative and successful program serving your senior citizens.
