Manager, College Library Services

Regular, Full-time

Reporting to the Senior Instructional Officer, the Manager provides leadership and is responsible for the overall administration, planning, coordination and evaluation of College Library Services, FOIP and Copyright, Institute Archives, and Learning Commons Initiative. Library services are offered on 5 campus library sites and the College of the Rockies Cranbrook Learning Resources Centre. The Manager also provides leadership for related information technology issues for the College, and plays a significant role on committees at the College level. The Manager works within broad guidelines and objectives, structures his/her own work unit and allocation of work.

An ALA/CLA accredited Library degree (minimum Masters Level) is required plus a minimum of five years of successful progressive library administrative experience, preferably in an academic or research library.

Salary Range: $69,981 to 83,311 plus a comprehensive benefits plan.
