Please join us on October 22 and 23 for the Human Library, a unique experience in breaking barriers and making community connections. Sit down, one-on-one for 30 minutes with one of our Living Books and get to know his or her story, whether it?s our ?Former Russian? book, who lived for over 50 years in the Soviet Union, or our ?Intern in Ghana? book, who might just be one of your students. CBC radio host Don Connolly will also be making an appearance as a Living Book! Our full catalogue of books is online and is updated frequently. Please tell your colleagues, students, friends and enemies about this event. It is open to all and no registration or fee is required. It is a busy time for all of us. But the rewards of attending such an event could stay with you forever. Come to the Human Library. Shatter your assumptions. The Human Library will be held at the Vaughan Memorial Library (Acadia University, Wolfville, NS) on October 22 from 10am-2pm and 4pm-8pm. It will be held at the Wolfville Memorial Public Library (Wolfville, NS) on October 23 from 10am-2pm. Maps for each location are available on our website.
