qu’une rencontre du comité parlementaire de l’industrie et du
commerce aura lieu le 27 juillet prochain à 9 h 30; ...
Nous vous invitons à vous rassembler le 27 juillet
prochain, à 9 h, devant le parlement canadien à Ottawa afin de faire valoir
votre point de vue sur la décision du gouvernement conservateur de rendre
facultatif le questionnaire long du recensement de Statistique Canada pour le
remplacer par l'Enquête nationale des ménages.
Si vous avez besoin d’un moyen de transport afin de
vous y rendre, des places seront disponibles aux militants et aux gens intéressés
en partance de Montréal à 6 h du matin mardi prochain. Nous invitons
d’ailleurs les gens ayant des automobiles à prendre contact avec nous
afin de faire du covoiturage pour le départ vers Ottawa.

reconsider its decision;
- Whereas the recent resignation of Munir Sheikh, Chief
Statistician of Statistics Canada;
- Whereas a meeting of the Standing Committee on
Industry, Science and Technology will be held July 27 at 9 h 30 am ;
We invite you to gather on July 27 at 9 am, in front of
the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa, to put forward your views on the
Conservative government’s decision to abolish the mandatory long form
census to replace it with an optional survey known as the National Household
Survey .
If you need transport to get there, places will be
available to interested people from Montreal to 6 am Tuesday. We also invite
people with cars to get in touch with us to carpool for the departure to
Ottawa.
