Hi everyone,

just want to let you know we have a research page dedicated to the Royal Canadian Naval Centennial, which begins today.

http://www.halifaxpubliclibraries.ca/research/topics/canadian-naval-centennial.html

You will find:

a) a small slide show showing postcards and a couple pictures,

b) suggested reading lists, including a new catalogue list called The Royal Canadian Navy

c) links to the Books of Remembrance

d) Helpful links

The Halifax Explosion resources are also included because the first Canadian Naval ship, The Niobe, took part of the disaster.

To find this page, just click on "Research" on the top right side of the website and then click on the Royal Canadian Naval banner.

If you have any questions or comments, please pass them on to me.

Thanks!

Joanne
