Planning Your Digitization Project

Wednesday, April 28th 2:00 PM ET (11:00 AM PT)
Planning and Managing a Digitization Project
With Loren Fantin, Project Manager of Our Ontario, within Knowledge Ontario - One hour AUDIO Conference

When planning your digitization project you need to visualize your project from start to finish. Consider how your digital material will be preserved for longevity and sustainability, predict the cost of the project, and be knowledgeable about best practices, standards, and overall digitization policies for your institution.

Loren Fantin has been the Project Manager for Our Ontario since its inception. Under Loren's direction, OurOntario.ca now provides access to over 4 million objects. Her prior professional experience was focused in the archival sector, having worked as coordinator with the Archives Association of Ontario in developing and managing ARCHEION, Ontario's archival information network.

Please note: This session is priced as an Audio Conference, but will be run as a Web Conference, with both audio and web connections - a small bonus for participants!
