Hello everyone,
This week, Dalhousie University is hosting a two-day national
conference on learning and teaching organized by the Centre for
Learning and Teaching. I know that several members of the School's
community, faculty and students, have registered for this event.
It is impressive to note that, of twenty-one presentations coming from
Dalhousie, four are from SIM (see below) and an additional two include
alumni Linda Bedwell and Gwendolyn MacNairn of the University
Libraries. I cheer all of my colleagues on in their endeavours, which
fall beyond the scope of their "regular" research activities, and which
demonstrate wonderful commitment to building on the strengths of the
learning opportunities for our students.
