CLA/YBP Award for Outstanding Contribution to Collection Development and Management (Generously sponsored by YBP Library Services and presented by the Collection Development and Management Interest Group, Canadian Library Association) The Collection Development and Management Interest Group invites nominations for the CLA/YBP Award for Outstanding Contribution to Collection Development and Management, generously sponsored by YBP Library Services. The award recognizes an individual member in good standing of CLA/ACB who has made an outstanding local, national or international contribution in the field of library collection development or management. Each individual nominated should have demonstrated achievement in some, but not necessarily all, of these areas: * Service to the profession, in the area of collections management or development, through CLA/ACB or other information-related organizations; * Planning and implementing exemplary or innovative library collections-related programs; * Publication record which contributes to research in the field of library collections management or development; * Demonstrated leadership in the field of collection development and management in Canada.
