Instruction and Outreach Librarian, Permanent Full-time

 

The library of Atlantic School of Theology seeks an enthusiastic, multi-talented, entry-level Instruction and Outreach Librarian to fill a permanent, full-time position. 

 

Reporting to the Library Director, and working collaboratively with other librarians, library staff and faculty, this librarian position is responsible to plan, develop, implement and assess the instructional services program of the AST Library, within the context of the academic curriculum and mission of Atlantic School of Theology.

This is a full-time, permanent position, and is available immediately. Work schedule may include evening and weekend hours. Salary will be determined with regard to experience and qualifications, within the current salary range applied to professional librarians at Atlantic School of Theology.

 

Founded in 1971, Atlantic School of Theology is an ecumenical, tri-denominational theological school, accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada. We provide Masters Degree and Graduate Certificate level education, through both on-campus and online course options; A diverse range of continuing education and public interest events also take place each year on our picturesque campus, on the shores of the Northwest Arm of Halifax Harbour. Since March 2002 Atlantic School of Theology has been affiliated with Saint Mary’s University in Halifax.
