MUN librarians who wish to engage in statistical analysis of collections
and services. These include logs, reports, and data sources from web
servers, proxy servers, resource vendors, link resolvers, federated
search engines, institutional repositories, electronic reference

"Demystifying Stats: a Primer on Basic Statistics" by Gillian Byrne
This session aims to demystify basic statistics, covering topics such as
variables, hypotheses, sampling, statistical significance, as well as
basic statistical calculations like cross-tabulations, chi-squares and
correlation coefficients. The emphasis of this session is on

both published and operational - there is NO math component in this
session (but there might be homework).
