Hello all!
I am on the library committee for the Autism Society of NL and they are getting a brand new library at their centre (Elaine Dobbin Centre across from the Janeway). It is a small collection (under 1000) and cataloguing has already begun with a great group of volunteers. Due to some turnover, we now need a couple more cataloguing volunteers (training provided) who can help finish this great project. Two to three month time commitment with cataloguing meetings about once a month. DDC and MARC knowledge an asset but not necessary (we will train!). We are using LibraryWorld software and it is quite user friendly.

In return, you will be rewarded not only with that warm fuzzy feeling of helping but free food from the Pantry (free lunch for every 100 books catalogued!).

Any members out there willing to assist?  Email me to let me know. Whether you can do 5 or 100 items it all helps!
Annette
