First Call for Conference Sesssion Proposals.  APLA 2009.

The Atlantic Provincies Library Association (APLA) 2009 annual Conference  will take place Wednesday, June 10th  to Saturday, June 13th, 2009. Next year’s Conference is being held at the beautiful Marriott Halifax Harbourfront Hotel in the heart of the Halifax waterfront.

Planning for the conference program is underway.   We plan to make this a fun, informative and thought provoking conference, as always.

APLA attracts presenters from across the Atlantic provinces.  It is also a popular and respected conference choice for librarians across the country and further afield.  APLA is an excellent place to showcase you ideas,  research and library initiatives.  Or maybe you are just looking for good reason to visit Halifax in the summer.

If you have never done a conference presentation before, the friendly atmosphere of APLA is a great place to get started.

The APLA 2009 Program committee seeks proposals for conference sessions  of all kinds.  Proposals for day long pre-conference sessions are also welcome.

The APLA 2009 Program committee is also seeking recommendations for speakers and topics.

We look forward to your recommendations and proposals.

Thanks Very Much.

Peter Webster,  APLA 2009 Program Chair.
