The APLA Executive is pleased to announce that Creighton Barrett is the winner of the APLA Student to IFLA contest.  Creighton is a second year student at Dalhousie University's School of Information Management.

The contest covers the cost of registration at the IFLA conference in Quebec City in August, or in this case, the equivalent amount in travel funds, since Creighton has been selected to volunteer at the conference and registration is covered for volunteers.  Congratulations, Creighton!

APLA would like to thank Laurette Mackey for her tremendous support of the IFLA conference, as APLA's representative.  She has dedicated many hours to this work over the course of several years, with great results.  See http://www.ifla.org/IV/ifla74/index.htm for more details about the event.
