UBC's Dr. John Willinsky is no stranger to open access advocates. His book
The Access Principle is 'required reading' for all those who believe in
the connection between access to information and the economic and social
well-being of knowledge-based societies. Recently, John accepted an
appointment at Stanford University in California, and I asked him some
questions about his teaching and research there.
