Good news! APLA members can now hunt for library jobs across
The Job Board is being hosted by the British Columbia Library Association on behalf of APLA and all organizations of the Partnership,
Members of all provincial and territorial library associations can search for jobs anywhere in the country. You can narrow your search to positions in a particular type of library or to a type of position. You can also restrict your search to the positions listed in a given city or province. Or you can even limit your search to positions available in one particular library. Partnership members can sign up to receive new job listings by e-mail as they are posted. An RSS feed will be coming in a future version.
As an employer with an institutional APLA membership, you can post positions on the Partnership Job Board at the member rate of $50.00 for a two-week posting. You must register first; make sure that you register as an institutional member of a provincial library association. Non-members will pay $75.00 for the same two-week posting.
The new Partnership Job Board is the first phase of a larger Career Centre site being built based on work the provincial and territorial library associations have done in their own jurisdictions. It is being coordinated to mesh with the efforts of the 8Rs Committee.
