•verify bibliographic details and publication availability when ordering information is incomplete,
•search the online ordering system and input appropriate ordering details,
•communicate with librarians, vendors, publishers and distributors to investigate problematic orders,
•maintain a financial control system of committals and expenditures and prepare financial reports,
•reconcile invoices for shipments received with orders placed,
•investigate and resolve situations related to incomplete or incorrect shipments,
•order, renew and cancel print serial subscriptions for all NSCC campus libraries.
YOUR CREDENTIALS: You have a high school diploma, combined with a minimum of two years experience in a library environment, or recognized equivalencies. Bookkeeping training and/or experience is desirable. You are experienced in using the complete suite of Microsoft applications, including MS Word and Excel. Ideally, you have experience in working in an electronic environment with library management systems, vendors and suppliers. You thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment. You are a creative self-starter with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
