The Benefits

Knowing how busy new managers are, the benefit of this course is that
participants can participate from their desks for 1 hour during each of
the three weeks the course is scheduled, with a week off in between
sessions.

Who Should Participate?

This course is designed for those who have recently moved into a
managerial position or will be during the next 3-6 months, who want a
few key strategies for starting off and staying on the right track. All
new managers should invest the time in full-day intensive learning
events, but these sessions offer an easy way to cover the basics until
time allows for out-of-the-office training.

Key Topics You Will Explore

*  Planning: setting short-term and long-term goals
* Communicating: in all directions, clearly and succinctly
* Balancing: especially when most issues are "gray"
* Learning: the #1 skill for all managers
