Subject: Two upcoming events: Dr. Robčrt (Sept. 22) and Raffi (Sept. 21 and
23)

The event with Dr. Robčrt is a rare opportunity for Nova Scotians to meet
one of the most brilliant minds of the century - the founder of The Natural
Step, which is perhaps the most effective and far-reaching strategy in
existence to re-orient society, business, and government towards a
sustainable future. The King of Sweden has endorsed The Natural Step,
businesses like IKEA, Nike, Starbucks, and Home Depot have now adopted it,
and every Swedish household has received educational materials to
participate in The Natural Step. Might Nova Scotia pioneer The Natural Step
in North America? Come and find out this Friday!

If you or your children grew up on "Baby Beluga" then you know Raffi. Raffi
will be in Halifax this coming Thursday to sing and talk about his new CD
and book, which has been described as ła compassionate children-first
approach to global restoration.˛ The Lieutenant-Governor of British
Columbia, The Hon. Iona Campagnolo recently said: "Child Honouring is
required reading for every person who is determined to improve our world."
Come and see Raffi this coming Thursday in Halifax or Saturday in Wolfville.

Please find below announcements for the lunch and lecture with Dr. Robčrt
and the evening presentations by Raffi (Halifax and Wolfville). Please help
us promote these events by circulating these announcements to your networks.
Information on purchasing tickets is included below. If you have any
questions, please let me know.

In a unique word and song presentation, Raffi will share his philosophy of
"Child Honoring," a children-first paradigm for humane and sustainable
communities - a compassionate revolution in values. Drawing on the
just-published anthology Child Honoring: How to Turn This World Around and
his new CD Resisto Dancing: Songs of Compassionate Revolution, Raffi
presents an exciting and hope-filled vision and an invitation to, as Nelson
Mandela has said, "turn this world around - for the children."

RAFFI CAVOUKIAN is the founder of Child Honouring, a children-first paradigm
for global restoration. He is a renaissance man known to millions simply as
Raffi: a renowned Canadian troubadour, record producer, systems thinker,
author, entrepreneur and ecology advocate, once called łthe most popular
childrenšs entertainer in the western world˛ (Washington Post). President of
Troubadour Music, among the most successful independent record labels, Raffi
was a pioneer in music for children and families: his CDs, tapes, videos,
