> OUR OPPORTUNITY: You will provide assistance with ordering and
> receiving material for the Dartmouth Waterfront Campus (interim name)
> under the general direction and supervision of the Metro Region
> Librarian. Working in an electronic environment you will: 
> *determine if required items are in the library collection or on
> order, 
> *verify bibliographic details and publication availability when
> ordering information is incomplete, 
> *communicate with Librarians regarding problematic orders, 
> *search the vendor's online ordering system and input appropriate
> ordering details, 
> *maintain a financial control system of committals and expenditures
> and prepare financial reports, 
> *reconcile invoices for shipments received with orders placed, 
> *investigate and resolve situations related to incomplete or incorrect
> shipments, 
> *investigate non-receipt of material, prepare catalogued material for
> shipment, 
> *assume other related duties as may be assigned by the Metro Region
> Librarian.
> YOUR CREDENTIALS: You have a high school diploma, combined with a
> minimum of two years experience in a library environment, or
> recognized equivalencies. Bookkeeping training and/or experience is
> desirable. You are experienced in using the complete suite of
> Microsoft applications, including MS Word and Excel. You thrive in a
> demanding, fast-paced environment. You are a creative self-starter
> with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
