The Information Center Specialist will be responsible for organizing, planning and managing the School Information Centres within designated schools.   A job description is available on the website.


Master of Library Science from an accredited library school.   Professional experience would be an asset. [This does not preclude the employer from determining that other combinations of education and/or experience are equivalent, which may include a Library and Information Technology Diploma]

In addition, the employer will select the most qualified candidate as per the requirements of the collective agreement, which set out that "*selection shall be made upon the objective criteria of experience, job performance, ability, qualification and attitude". Salary:         As per NSGEU Contract

Start Date:     August 2005
